Players will spend their nights fighting random crimes or moving through the main missions in Gotham. The more successful they are at completing quests or defeating enemies, the higher their character level. Additionally, they will gain rewards, including Suit Styles and crafting materials for weapons and suits. Some materials are rarer than others and take more time to gather. NTH Metal, for example, has one is the lowest drop rates in the Gotham Knights.
How To Farm NTH Metal
NTH Metal is used for crafting Gear, including suits, ranged weapons, and melee weapons. The best Gear is made with NTH Metal, so it’s incredibly valuable. Unfortunately, getting it can be challenging and is a bit of a grind. All players must do to farm NTH Metal is beat enemies when they go on Night Patrol. Gotham City is sprawling with dangerous situations happening continuously around any corner. Simply walking around will confront criminal activity, but players can find more extensive or complex operations directly from the Batcomputer Map.
Activating all the Fast Travel points is recommended to save time moving around. There is at least one in all the corners of the city, and they become available after the Heist at STAR Labs mission, and players start doing Lucius Fox’s side quests. He will have the Knights manually scan the drones flying around different areas of Gotham City. Once they are all scanned, players can access those places from the Map only a loading screen away. Otherwise, be prepared to travel using the Batcycle or Heroic Travel. If planning on walking around and hitting random crime rather than seeking out the big boys, players can still eventually farm enough NTH for their upgrades.
Enemy Encounters
Unsurprisingly, Gotham City has seen a spike in crime since Batman’s death. Three enemy divisions are wreaking havoc on Gotham’s citizens: Mobsters, Freaks, and Regulators. All of them have a chance to drop NTH Metal, but specific ones are more likely to have it than others. Enemies are noted by their skill level (which increases with the players naturally). The two strongest, Veterans and Champions, almost always have some NTH Metal.
They are challenging to take down, so players should ensure they are prepared with health packs and their most robust Gear before engaging. Switching between certain characters is a good idea because they all have their fighting perks, and one might handle an enemy better than another. Additionally, strong enemies don’t usually travel alone, so players typically face at least six at once. These groups will consist of mainly Regular enemies with one to two Veterans or Champions with unique abilities and a higher health bar.
