RELATED: Gotham Knights: How to Get XP and Level up Fast
One of the main story paths takes players to the home of Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a. the Penguin. He resides at a club called the Iceberg Lounge, and the mission requires two visits. The first time players go to him, he sends them away with essentially nothing because they lack the clout to be taken seriously without Batman. However, he is more apt to talk after the Knights deter some of his criminal activities. Nevertheless, the second time visiting him doesn’t result in him immediately spilling all he knows, and players must find all the listening devices in his office before he talks. Unfortunately, Gotham Knights does not give very much information on how to find the bugs, so this guide covers just that.
How To Enter the Iceberg Lounge
The Knights cannot enter the Iceberg Lounge through the front door and need to find an alternative entrance. Luckily, there is a vent on the roof that they can squeeze inside, but there will be enemies to deal with before making it to Copplepot’s office.
There are seven guards inside the building, so layers should take the stealthy route and perform silent take-downs to make getting the Avoid Taking Damage Bonus easier. Otherwise, be prepared to duke it out with all seven guards simultaneously - one being a large enemy.
Cobblepot’s Office
After defeating the guards, players can then enter Cobblepot’s office. He immediately holds up his finger, signaling to be quiet. Then, before answering any questions, he insinuates that his office is bugged, so players must locate all the bugs before he feels safe enough to talk.
Some items in his office light up purple, which may seem the obvious answer. However, those items give backstory to the Penguin rather than being the bugs, and players must use the scanner to locate the bugs. Cobblepot will also be pointing out important items in what seems like a casual conversation but are actually hints. There are three in the room.
The first one is in the corner of his office, hidden inside a lamp. The second is in a plant vase behind his desk. The third is inside the sculpture of the Penguin on the far wall next to the door.
They must all be scanned before they can be destroyed. After getting all the bugs, players will need to pick up a bottle of whiskey. The Penguin will pour two glasses, give information on the Court of Owls, and say that something serious is going down at the Power Club, which will continue the mission and push the story forward.
Gotham Knights is available now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
