There’s already quite the selection of weapons in Gears of War 3 including a gun that can blast chickens at the enemy but PLUM B of the MOCPages forums has created a rubber bland launching LEGO Lancer with fully functioning trigger and chainsaw mechanisms. PLUM B has posted several photos and a video that shows him blasting paper cut-out Locust and explaining the mechanism used to make a working trigger, safety and chainsaw. It’s impressive to see all the pieces laid out and then re-assembled into a functional gun complete with rubber band ammo clip and priming mechanism. Now LEGO COG’s will be fully armed and ready to active reload their rubber band ammo when the DUPLO Locust invade. We anxiously await the creation of a life-size LEGO Silverback with functioning rocket transformation, you know… just in case. It’s amazing what can be done when people with real talent fall in love with a video game. Keep up the work Gears fans. The world loves the wallpapers, posters and lifelike recreations of beloved characters and items. Even after the Gears of War series ends it will live on because of the fantastic works of art created by the fans.
