Grand Theft Auto series leaker Matheusvictorbr- says that they have confirmed a photograph of a house seen in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition is actually pulled from GTA 6. They say that the location is inspired by Hollywood, Florida, which would align with rumors that Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to be set in Vice City. The house didn’t appear in the original version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, so it’s been the source of much speculation since the Definitive Edition launched last year.

Fans should take this information with a massive grain of salt, like with any leaks or rumors, but Rockstar Games does have a documented history of teasing new projects in its games. In fact, some may recall Grand Theft Auto 3 included billboards that hinted at Vice City, so it wouldn’t be surprising at all for Rockstar to use Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition to tease fans’ return to the Florida-based city.
Fans have speculated for years that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be set in Vice City. After all, Grand Theft Auto 4 returned the franchise to Liberty City, while Grand Theft Auto 5 had San Andreas covered. It would only make sense for Grand Theft Auto 6 to be set in Vice City then, though there are some GTA 6 rumors that it may actually include more than one city for players to explore.
Some Grand Theft Auto 6 rumors claim the game will have two cities, with players able to travel between both Liberty City and Vice City. This seems unlikely, if nothing else because of how much of a massive undertaking it would be, but it will be interesting to see if there’s any truth to it once Rockstar does finally decide to pull the curtain back on the long-awaited next game in the blockbuster GTA franchise.
It will also be interesting to see if any of the other rumors surrounding the game are true, like if GTA 6 will have an evolving map for multiplayer or if it features a female protagonist for the first time in series history. GTA fans will just have to stay tuned to find out.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development.
