Speaking of mods, Grand Theft Auto 5 is teeming with them, and almost every other week there seems to be yet another creative fan that adds one more layer of ridiculousness to the already over-the-top game. Whether it’s the Iron Man Hulkbuster mod that lets gamers tear through the streets of Los Santos with Tony Stark’s giant mech-suit or the mini-story that mashes up Fallout 4 and GTA 5 with a pretty impressive PC mod, there’s no telling what modders will think up next for the title....

Whether it’s simply walking through the vast desert of Uncharted 3, or hopping through a visual wonderland in Super Mario 3D Land, a game’s music can help set the tone for the sequences that accompany it. Take Battlefield 3 for example, a game that executes sound flawlessly, but that also has a solid score to keep the pace up and players interests piqued. Though the thought of breathtaking music and Battlefield 3 don’t exactly run hand in hand, the score for DICE’s latest does evoke some pretty substantial emotion when the moment calls for it....

Although GTA 5’s success has benefited Rockstar and gamers in several ways, some negatives have come with it, too. Most notably, GTA 5’s profitability has greatly pushed back the release of the next entry in the GTA series, causing many to grow fatigued by Los Santos, no matter how impressively detailed it is. Furthermore, the high bar set by GTA 5 may have raised expectations to an unreasonable degree, leaving Rockstar in a position where only a flawless masterpiece will please gamers....

It’s worth noting that GTA 6 is reportedly taking an incremental development approach, meaning that when it launches, it will be moderately-sized. Whether that’s moderate in size compared to GTA 5 or to other similar games remains to be seen, but this will allow Rockstar to continually build on a presumably both single player and multiplayer game for years to come. Whether initially built in or added shortly after, there’s one mini-game Rockstar included in San Andreas but cut in GTA 5 that would be great for the next game....

According to a release issued by the Allegheny County Police Department, Robbie Boyer, 47, was arrested and charged on Thursday with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
