The sixth heist mission in Grand Theft Auto 5 is called The Big Score and the ‘subtle’ approach involves a sequence where players must drive their car onto the trailer of a moving truck, or risk mission failure. While on track to complete the game at a record time of 6:33:29, a glitch occurred that made this sequence impossible, crushing DarkViperAU’s dream of becoming the new world champion. First, gunfire from the overhead police helicopter took out the gamer’s back tire with just a few shots, then the game mysteriously threw the protagonist’s car off to the left side of the road, straight into oncoming traffic....

From playing golf to skydiving, there is no shortage of fun pastimes the player can take part in. The leisurely breaks featured in Grand Theft Autohave charm, and some consider their addition to be the series’ most enjoyable feature. The vast array of leisurely pursuits showcased throughout each installment has led fans to wonder if Rockstar can improve on these activities, or perhaps create more, in Grand Theft Auto 6....

Rockstar has now revealed Grand Theft Auto Online’s Halloween Event, which will offer a wide variety of activities and goodies for players. The celebration brings a Lost vs Damned Adversary mode, which allows players to face off against each other in teams of Devils and Angels. Devils will receive bonuses to their health, armor, and weapon loadouts during the night, and Angels will receive them during the day, with the day/night cycle shortened to 60 seconds in order to give equal opportunities to both teams....

Grand Theft Auto Online regularly maintains 100,000 players and beyond the frequent updates that it receives to keep fans coming back, it has also gotten a full expansion called The Contract which features Dr. Dre. Given the popularity and duration of the Rockstar Games title, people from all walks of life have had the opportunity to explore the vast map of Los Santos and one player that may have warehouse experience spotted a problem with the boxes, forklifts, and wooden pallets....

As originally announced on the Rockstar Newswire, Grand Theft Auto Online fans are now able to pick up the Progen Itali GTB Custom from Benny’s Original Motor Works shop in the game. As described by the developer, the Progen Itali GTB Custom is a “sleek jungle cat [that] packs serious speed, devours tight turns with ease, and is sure to terrorize opposing racers across the circuit.” As seen in the image below, the Progen Itali GTB Custom initially comes to Grand Theft Auto Online with a neon lime-green paint job, but fans can alter its appearance however they like....

Many fans awaiting the game have been concerned that Gotham Knights will face delays. While this remains a possibility, there is a good reason that the upcoming title could be protected from delays despite the uncertainty of the last year. The three other Batman villains players encounter are Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, and Clayface. These villains are only pursued in individual case file missions, which vary in length and boss fight satisfaction. Many fans were understandably disappointed by Gotham Knights’ perceived lack of villains, but it would still be fantastic to see more appear post-launch if WB Games Montreal had DLCs planned. If so, there are a number of prime candidates for villains who could offer incredible case file missions in Gotham Knights....

Gameplay has also been shared in two separate presentation walkthroughs. The first walkthrough centered on Batgirl and Robin as they engaged in a boss fight with Mr. Freeze. Meanwhile, the second walkthrough centered on Nightwing and Red Hood and offered an in-depth look at moment-to-moment gameplay in the open world and RPG elements such as suit crafting. Now that each character’s core gameplay has been shown at least a bit, there is still much Gotham Knights could show....

This Battlefield 3 video isn’t a demake in the traditional sense, mostly because it isn’t really a demake at all. Omega52 mostly just superimposes sounds from NES games onto Battlefield 3 gameplay, to some enjoyable results. The sounds in the video are taken from the ever popular Contra, as well as other titles like Top Gun, with the music coming from Journey to Silius and Batman. According to MyMiniFactory’s production squad, lead designer Kirby Downey spent roughly 35 hours designing and preparing DOOM’s BFG for printing. In fact, the project itself was so massive that the company had to split the model into more than 70 pieces for the printing process, which ended up lasting over 1000 hours, with many of the pieces taking almost an entire a month to print. As seen in the making-of video for DOOM’s 3D printed BFG below, MyMiniFactory’s head of post-processing Sarah Wade took point on finishing the project off by gluing it together, painting it, and making it appear as close to the in-game version of the weapon as possible....

Thankfully, a clever (and rich) Minecraft fan who goes by the user name post-apocalyptic research institute has put together a 3D model of a Minecraft village. Each of the various pieces to the village were created using a 3D printer, a device which can cost upwards of $60,000, and are so small that a tilt/shift lens was used to make this town seem larger than it actually is. They even included some pictures that give you a better sense of just how small this Minecraft village is when compared to a human hand or a piece of currency....

Nintendo Switch SNES Mod Having decided that waiting for Nintendo to release some retro SNES Nintendo Switch skins and designs was out of the question, YouTuber JordiPower decided to insert his own SNES-themed buttons into his Switch controller. While painting Joy-Cons a different color is easy, swapping out the controller’s buttons is a far more difficult task, as documented by JordiPower’s new Switch tutorial video below. Using the ABXY buttons from the new 3DS handheld, some tools, and some old-fashioned elbow grease, JordiPower managed to swap out the Switch’s standard buttons for some SNES-styled replacements after many hours of precise measurements and careful crafting....

Rovio has teamed up with German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom to create a paper-mâché rendition of a level from Angry Birds and plop it down on the street. The level has been set-up in the city of Terrassa, Spain, and both a flash mob and a live band were been hired to participate in the event. The band, of course, plays the Angry Birds song, making this the second cover of the theme we have heard in the past week....
