Each of Gotham Knights’ playable protagonists is unique, and it will be interesting to learn more about how their authentic backstories influence their character development in the game’s narrative events. However, not much has been clearly defined about Gotham Knights’ Bat Family besides Barbara Gordon’s Batgirl, who fans know was previously Oracle. In a recent reveal from Gotham Knights, even more insight has been shed for Barbara that may allude to important story beats....

Speaking in an interview with GamesRadar, Executive Producer for Gotham Knights Fleur Marty stated that “[Batman] just takes up all of the space, he takes all of the air out of the room,” implying that with Batman in the game, a lot of players would have found it to be about him, rather than his successors taking over his role. Ceri Young built on this point by saying that Batman’s absence from Gotham Knights “really drives” the playable characters....

User Wyo made a post on the Arcade Museum forums showing off the fruits of his labor through various photographs. The cabinet contains an NES and a 20-inch cathode ray tube. He states that it’s 95 percent finished with only some side art and an instruction card left to complete. Wyo was kind enough to provide some cliff notes on the project: While some of the technical mumbo jumbo has likely sailed right over a few heads, an understanding of the work that went into it isn’t required to appreciate it....

Though fans can only dream of having photorealistic graphics on par with the gorgeous 3D added to the footage below (or even just decent graphics, apparently), the teams behind RollerCoaster Tycoon World are currently reworking the entire game engine after fans left extremely negative feedback in regards to the game’s initial graphics. Development issues aside, we’re hopeful that the studios involved can recapture the spirit of theme parks that original creator Chris Sawyer brought to the table in the first place....

Microsoft has announced that 2011’s The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings is available as a free download on Xbox Live up until February 5, 2016. The game is available regardless of whether the player has a Gold account, so fans of last year’s The Witcher 3 interested in seeing some of the series’ roots have no reason not to check it out – as long as they have a Microsoft console....
